Make a GDPR request: access, correction or erasure

The GDPR gives you a set of rights over your own data. This page sets out what they are, how to exercise them and what you can expect from us.

The rights you have

The GDPR gives you the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection — plus the right to withdraw consent you gave earlier.

Which data we hold about you, on what legal basis and for how long is set out per category in the privacy statement. Worth reading before you file a request: it makes clear what there is to retrieve or erase.

How to submit a request

Send your request to privacy@peptide-lab.eu and name three things: which right you are exercising, the email address as we know it, and — if it concerns an order — the order number. The form below drafts that email in one click.

We respond within one month. If a request is complex or if there are several, we may extend that period by two months; in that case we tell you why within the first month. A request is free unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

How we identify you

We ask only what is needed to tie the request to an account or order — as a rule, no copy of an identity document. If doubt remains about who is making the request, we ask for further details we already hold, not for new ones.

If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). That right stands separate from our handling and does not lapse because you came to us first.

Open email

This opens your own email client with the request already filled in. Your details therefore reach us by email and are not sent or stored through this site.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long until I get an answer?

Within one month of receiving the request. For complex or multiple requests we may extend that by two months; we then tell you within the first month that we are extending and why.

Does a GDPR request cost anything?

No. A request is free of charge. Only for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests — the same request repeated in quick succession, for instance — may we charge a reasonable fee or refuse it.

Can I have everything erased?

Not always. Invoice and payment data are subject to a seven-year statutory retention period, so we cannot erase those sooner. What can be erased, we erase, and we tell you what stays and on what ground.
