A purity claim is only worth something if someone other than the seller measured it. Every Peptide Lab batch goes to Janoshik Analytical, an independent analytical lab, and the result is published on their domain — not on ours.
Why a third party?
A supplier testing its own product is not independent verification. The report, the measurement and the interest then all sit with the same party. So we have the analysis done elsewhere and publish the result as the lab delivers it.
The practical consequence: you do not have to trust us. The certificate lives on verify.janoshik.com, with its own address per test. Via verify a lot number you reach the report for your specific batch in two steps.
HPLC: how much of the intended peptide is in there?
HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) separates the components of a sample and shows what percentage actually is the intended peptide. The result is the purity percentage you see on the certificate.
Why that separation counts: a powder can look identical and still contain by-products or residues from the synthesis. HPLC makes that difference measurable instead of a matter of trust.
Mass spectrometry: is it the right molecule?
Mass spectrometry (MS) confirms the molecular identity and the molecular weight. HPLC says how much of it is pure, MS confirms what it is. Together they are the minimum for considering a batch characterised.
On the product pages you find the molecular weight in the specifications; the certificate carries the measured value for that specific batch.
What the certificate does and does not say
A Certificate of Analysis covers the identity and purity of one tested batch — not everything. It is not a statement about sterility, endotoxins or suitability for any application, and certainly not an approval as a medicine.
