Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about research use, purity, reconstitution and dispatch.
Research & compliance
Are Peptide Lab’s peptides intended for human use?
No. All products are intended solely for laboratory and research purposes. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, are not medicinal products and do not constitute medical advice.
Do you provide dosage advice?
No. We do not provide dosage advice or make health claims. On product pages, we describe only the research context, mechanisms and technical specifications.
What does ‘research use only’ mean?
This means that the product may only be used within a controlled laboratory or research environment by qualified personnel, and not for consumption or therapeutic purposes.
Quality & documentation
How is purity determined?
Each batch is tested using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and mass spectrometry. Our threshold is ≥99% purity.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
An independent laboratory certificate from Janoshik Analytical confirming the purity and identity of a specific batch. The COA is linked to the batch number on the label.
Can I see the laboratory certificate?
Yes. Where available, the COA is linked to the product and can be downloaded. The batch ID on the vial label refers to the corresponding certificate.
Reconstitution & storage
How do I reconstitute a lyophilised peptide?
Use bacteriostatic water from our Lab & Accessories range. Add the liquid slowly down the side of the vial. The exact ratio is specified in the instructions for use for each product.
How do I store peptides?
Lyophilisates should be stored at -20 °C for long-term storage. After reconstitution, store at 2–8 °C and generally use within 30 days.
What equipment do I need?
Bacteriostatic water, insulin syringes and alcohol wipes — all available in the Lab & Accessories category.
Delivery & the EU
Do you deliver throughout the EU?
Yes. We offer discreet and fast delivery within the EU, usually within 24 hours of placing an order.
How are orders packed?
Discreet and, where necessary, refrigerated, with batch documentation included.
In which currency should I pay?
All prices are shown in euros (EUR).
