Quality standards

With research material, quality is not a feeling but a measurable threshold plus a paper trail. Below is exactly which standards we hold, how a batch is released and what you can check yourself.

The threshold: ≥99% purity

We hold a threshold of ≥99% purity, determined by HPLC and confirmed by mass spectrometry. If a batch does not meet it, it does not enter the range. The measured value per batch is on the certificate and is therefore at or above that standard — not an average or a target.

Why 99% specifically: every extra percent of purity demands extra purification steps in the synthesis. That makes it a real threshold rather than a marketing number, and it is exactly the variable that makes reproducible research possible.

From batch to label: the route

Every batch is tested separately by Janoshik Analytical, receives a lot number and is only released once the report checks out. That lot number goes on the vial label and points to one specific certificate.

That makes the chain reconstructable afterwards: vial → lot number → certificate → method and date. Check it yourself via verify a lot number or browse all reports on certificates.

Packaging, shipping and storage

Peptides are supplied lyophilised (freeze-dried), which makes them stable enough for transport at ambient temperature. Shipments are discreet and carry a tracking code; countries and rates are in the shipping policy.

After receipt the storage instruction on the product page applies — for long-term storage usually −20 °C, and after reconstitution refrigerated with a limited shelf life. Work out the right ratio with the reconstitution calculator; the steps are in how to reconstitute peptides.

What we do not claim

Our standards concern identity, purity and traceability — not suitability for any application in humans or animals. We make no statements about sterility or endotoxins, and no product is a medicine or carries a medical approval.

Everything is supplied for laboratory and research purposes only, to buyers aged 21 or over. That is not small print but the framework this range exists in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly does ≥99% purity mean?

It means at least 99% of the material in the vial is the intended peptide, determined by HPLC and confirmed by mass spectrometry. The exact measured value for your batch is on the matching certificate.

Is every batch tested, or only samples?

Every batch is tested separately and receives its own certificate and lot number. A certificate therefore applies to that batch, not to the product in general.

How do I store a peptide after receipt?

Lyophilised powder is usually kept at −20 °C for long-term storage. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water it belongs refrigerated and has a limited shelf life. The per-product instruction is on the product page.

Do your standards say anything about sterility?

No. Our thresholds concern identity, purity and traceability. We make no statements about sterility or endotoxins, and products are not intended for human or animal consumption.

FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY. For laboratory and research purposes only. Not for human or animal consumption; not a medicine and does not constitute medical advice.
